The Department of State Services (DSS) and the Nigerian Army have successfully arrested a suspected arms trafficker in Taraba State. The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Bulyami Shuaib from Belango Village in Karim Lamido Local Government Area, was intercepted by security operatives during a joint raid.

- Two mobile phones (Redmi and itel)
- Two silver rings
- An ATM card belonging to First Bank

Investigation and Cooperation
The suspect is currently undergoing interrogation and has been cooperating with investigators, providing valuable information that may help unravel a broader network of illicit arms dealers operating in the region. Brigadier General Kingsley Chidiebere Uwa, Commander of 6 Brigade/Sector 3 OPWS, commended the troops and DSS operatives for their well-coordinated and timely operation ¹ ².
