The Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike has announced the impressive academic achievements of its graduating students. According to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe, a total of 163 students will be graduating with First Class Honors.

The Vice Chancellor revealed the following academic breakdown for the graduating students:
- 163 students with First Class Honors
- 1,710 students with Second Class Upper Division
- 2,114 students with Second Class Lower Division
- 734 students with Third Class Honors
- 9 students with a Pass
_Convocation Ceremony_
The university will be holding its convocation ceremony on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the school's arena. A total of 4,743 Bachelor's Degree students, 49 Postgraduate Diploma students, 252 Master's Degree students, and 164 Doctorate Degree students will be participating in the ceremony.
