US Congressman Riley Moore has hailed the recent airstrikes in Northwest Nigeria as a decisive move to protect Christian communities and tackle the ongoing security crisis in the country. The airstrikes, carried out by US forces under President Donald Trump's direction, targeted ISIS-linked terrorist elements in Sokoto state.

Moore stated that the strikes mark "just the first step to ending the slaughter of Christians and the security crisis affecting all Nigerians". He emphasized that Trump has been clear about ending the killing of Christians in Nigeria ¹.
