Tinubu Awaits Court Decision on Kanu's Fate

The Nigerian government, led by President Bola Tinubu, is awaiting the court's decision on the trial of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Mrs Chioma Wesley, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement (South-East), stated that the President will not make any pronouncement on the ongoing trial, emphasizing respect for the judicial process ¹ ² ³.
