The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, today, 22/10/2025, received the Controller of Corrections, Abia State Command, CC Nwanyanwu B. I. and her team at the Command Headquarters, Umuahia.
The visit was aimed at deepening collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigerian Correctional Service in the area of security, partnership and institutional support.
CC Nwanyanwu appreciated the Command’s assistance in safeguarding correctional centres during the recently concluded Free Nnamdi Kanu protest, while seeking to strengthen the existing synergy between both agencies.
In his response, CP Danladi Isa reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to sustaining the age long cooperation and assured that his doors remain open for continuous partnership.
