Bandits Kill One, Scores Missing in Kwara Community Attack

A violent attack by armed bandits has rocked the Shagbe village near Igbaja town of Ifelodun Local Government Area in Kwara State. The incident, which occurred on Saturday at around 9:15 pm, has left one person dead and scores missing.

Details of the Attack
According to a security agent, the bandits stormed the community, sparking panic and chaos. The exact motive behind the attack is still unclear, but the brutality of the act has left the community in shock. One person was confirmed killed during the violent invasion, and eight others were declared missing.

Response from Authorities
The Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Adekimi Ojo, has confirmed the incident and stated that the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Oke-Ode is already in the area for an on-the-spot assessment of the situation. The police are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack and to rescue those who are still missing.
