Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has made a scathing assessment of President Bola Tinubu's performance, declaring that the President is "gone" due to his abysmal ratings. According to El-Rufai, Tinubu's disapproval ratings have reached a staggering 91% in the North and Southeast regions.
In a recent interview on Arise Television's Prime Time, El-Rufai cited the President's poor performance in key areas such as security, economy, and trade. He questioned whether the average Nigerian's life has improved since Tinubu took office on May 29, 2023, and suggested that it's time to give others a chance.
El-Rufai's comments come on the heels of a growing opposition coalition, spearheaded by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. As the 2027 elections draw near, it's clear that the political landscape is heating up.
