A popular Ghanaian hypeman has opened up on live TV about the heavy pressure he’s facing after Davido allegedly didn’t fulfill a $5,000 promise he made.
According to him, he got so excited after hearing the promise that he rushed to buy furniture and foodstuff on credit, even told his landlord to relax about the 7 months’ rent he owes—because he was confident the money would come. 🥺
Now, the money hasn’t landed, and he’s in deep financial stress.
“I never thought Davido wouldn’t keep his word,” he said sadly. “I really hope he comes through.”
😢 This one pain am deep! What’s your take on this? Should promises like this be made publicly if they can’t be fulfilled?
