Nigerian singer and song writer, David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido has been featured in an official sound track of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, despite Nigeria not qualifying.
Davido alongside Aisha and Trinidad Cardona sang the 2022 FIFA World Cup cover titled "Hayya Hayya" (Better together).
Davido tweeted: "I'm honored to be featured on the Official @FIFAWorldCup 2022 Soundtrack! See y'all latee 2NITE! This one is for Africa! TULE!!!! ❤️ WE RISE!"
Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar after it succumbed to the away goal rule in the second leg playoff fixture against Ghana at the Mohood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
Despite failing to qualify for the World Cup, Nigeria Pop Star, Davido believes we qualified at last by him featuring at the competition.
